Students & long stays

Braga is a university city, a short bus ride from Universidade do Minho, and we take guests staying weeks or months at a time.

Hospitality first

A traditional hostel spirit, with a contemporary floor plan.

We restored a historic building on Rua Dom Afonso Henriques and kept what made it special — the light, the proportions, the granite — while adding everything a modern traveller actually needs: heating and air conditioning, fresh linen, lockers, fast internet and common areas cleaned and disinfected every day.

Our five rooms carry the names of oceans because our guests arrive from all of them. Each one is cosy and minimal, arranged for rest rather than decoration, and each looks out over the streets of one of Portugal's oldest cities.

Downstairs, the kitchen and the long table are the heart of the house. It is where breakfast turns into plans, where someone always offers to share dinner, and where a working morning ends with coffee and company.
